Through its commitment to diverse perspectives and dialogues, the Foundation seeks to challenge traditional top-down leadership structures in art museums and activate communities to promote artistic exchanges. Trusting its indefinite loaned permanent art collection to a collective of passionate advocates, the Particle Foundation is committed to building purposeful partnerships with artists, curators, institutions, and galleries to advance the cultural dialogue.
Particle Foundation's commitment to showcasing a mix of distinct creative practices, introducing diverse perspectives and dialogues, and promoting artistic exchanges aligns with the values of Web 3, which prioritizes decentralization, inclusivity, and collaboration. The foundation's permanent art collection, which includes both physical and digital works, reflects the evolving nature of art in the digital age and serves as a platform for academic and artistic dialogue that bridges the gap between the physical and digital worlds. Through positive partnerships with artists, curators, institutions, and galleries, Particle Foundation is driving a more inclusive exchange that enables the integration of physical and digital works into its collection, contributing to the advancement of culture for all of us.
This is presented through a series of exhibitions from and outside of the main collection, alongside building partnerships and public programming for education purposes. Mission-driven programming at Foundation includes four or five gallery exhibitions each year, often featuring guest curators, with concurrent artist talks, guest speakers, and guided exhibition tours.
The Particle Foundation’s art collection is indefinitely loaned by a collective of people who are advocates and passionate about the art –the Particle Community.
We aim to continue changing the construct of top-down leadership structures in Art Museums. Particle Foundation’s vision is responsive and collaborative - one that first and foremost values (alongside expertise) its community voices. An alternative to private Foundations owned by the selected few, we are driven by a new model of activating communities to educate and promote artistic exchanges.
- Collaboration: we seek to build positive, purposeful partnerships with artists, curators, institutions, galleries and grants to reflect our ideas of a more inclusive exchange. Whether displayed in an exhibition in a gallery space, sent on tour in a traveling exhibit, or loaned to another organization, our art collection connects the foundation with cultural institutions and other spaces around the world, facilitating academic and artistic dialogue.
- Creativity: Art is constantly evolving and influencing our society. We are passionate about celebrating these progressions, which contributes to the advancement of culture for all of us.
- Learning: One of our key ideas is the promotion of education to the wider public. We are dedicated to hosting artist talks, panels as well as gallery tours with leading experts in the field to educate and bring about new discourse. They mainly take place online or during our exhibitions using predominantly the collection and exhibitions for inspiration.
